The 2002-3 Season was great. This is just one of many dumps of snow we had up to late April.

In early January 2003 I joined a few instructors for a trip over the other side of the mountain into the Alpujarra.
We skied for a little over an hour
to the snow line where we enjoyed some lunch before walking down to the village Capillera.
Nearly at Capillera. My friend Bruno and I in front of the Sierra Nevada range.
2002. Skiing off-piste in los tajos de la virgen.
there I go..

International Pilots, from left to right; Marisa, Karen, Andrew, Fernanda, Sophia, Jama and I.

Me standing in front of the valley La Laguna. The off-piste skiing was done on the mountain to the right of my image.
Some friends from Thredbo during the level 2 instructor course.
Celia (my cousin) and I, with Mulhacen (3481m) to the right. Mulhacen is the highest peak on the Iberian Peninsula. The views in all directions are spectacular. On a clear day you can see out to Africa.
Celia getting some air in La Laguna.
Mark, Andy and I visiting the Alhambra, one of many special sites to see in Granada. Granada is just a 30 minute drive from Sierra Nevada, making it a great destination for a day trip.
